Focus on staying centered on the screen so you have time to react to platforms on either side, and prioritize grabbing jetpacks and propeller hats whenever they appear since they give you massive altitude boosts. Shoot monsters as early as possible before they block your path, and avoid broken platforms, which appear darker and cracked compared to normal ones.

Doodle Jump features several power-ups including springs and spring shoes for extra bounce height, jetpacks that launch you rapidly upward, and propeller hats that let you fly for a short period. These items appear randomly on platforms and can make a big difference in how high your doodler climbs.

Your run can be ended by falling off the bottom of the screen, landing on monsters, touching black holes that suck your doodler in, or stepping on broken platforms that collapse beneath you. UFOs and other creatures will also block your path and must be shot or avoided to keep climbing.
