Baldi speeds up each time you collect a notebook, making the game progressively more intense as you grab more of them. He also moves faster when you answer math problems incorrectly, so try your best on each question to keep him at a manageable pace.

Besides Baldi himself, you'll encounter several strange characters including the Principal of the Thing, who sends you to detention if you break rules, and Playtime, a girl who forces you to jump rope with her. Each character has unique behaviors that can slow you down or put you in danger.

You must collect all 7 notebooks hidden throughout the schoolhouse before you can escape. After grabbing each one, you'll need to answer math problems, and Baldi becomes increasingly faster and angrier with every notebook you find.
